To give hope for a better future…! Positivity in Baltimore
A key part of the Traveling Toddlers’ mission is found in our motto, “Building Lives, Changing Futures.” We have the pleasure of featuring a project that does just that; check out Positivity in Baltimore highlights below:
Positivity in Baltimore is a Non-Profit organization that was founded in 2015 in Baltimore, MD. The founders of this organization are Angie Hines & Dena Jackson. They saw a need in Baltimore that needed to be addressed and felt in their heart and spirit that they could make a difference, and Positivity in Baltimore was born.
The mission of Positivity In Baltimore is to serve individuals, families, and communities that are homeless, hungry, living in poverty by providing services and programs that will aid in reestablishing positivity and hope in Baltimore.
Over the years, Positivity in Baltimore has worked on the following campaigns
- Toiletries for the homelessness
- Providing school supplies to children in need
- Feeding the hungry
- Providing resources for coats and health clinics
- Keeping the community aware of job fairs and events
- Ensuring children have toys through their toys drive
- Spearheading clothing driving
Right now, Positivity in Baltimore needs your donations and support ASAP, as they are running two new campaigns
- Easter Basket Drive–the goal is to provide at least 60 Easter Baskets to boys & girls in Baltimore City
- Serving Easter Dinner to women and children at Baltimore Outreach Services on 4/20/2019. The Baltimore Outreach Services provide comprehensive services and programs to homeless women and their children, i.e., emergency shelter, supportive housing, job training, educational programming, health, mental health services, etc.
